Differences between Guys & Girls

Went shopping with Mr BF for his new year clothes yesterday and i was super x542316874 pissed off. Here's the differences between shopping with a guy(My BF) and a girl(My GF):

1. Trying Clothes

Guy:
He was so lazy to try clothes and tends to buy what he THINKS that suits him. I had a hard time getting him to try the clothes. Grrr!

Girl:
The more, the better! We always take many pieces of clothing to try and won't complain that it's troublesome.


2. Going extra mile

Guy:
Like i mentioned in #1, i find that most guys will just go into the shop, get what they want and leave the shop.

Girl:
We don't mind going extra mile for more shops because we want to compare as we always worry that the next one will be cheaper or nicer. =P


Well, that's what i think. But don't you agree? =D

Goodbye Holiday, Hello New School Term!

*blows away the dust* 3 more days to new school term, kinda looking forward to it. prolly because i have been slacking for too long. haha! nothing much, had a trip to Pulau Ubin, had 2 singing sessions, watched 5 movies in the past one month. I guess it's time to start working hard. ^_^

Feeling Disgusted

I'm damn disgusted by what I saw today. There's this stall in a coffeeshop selling Ban Mian and there will be pork in the Ban Mian right? I saw how they handle the pork. They took the pork out from the freezer and they threw it on the floor repeatedly. *roll eyes* I heard from my bro that he saw they wrap the dough with newspaper and put it on floor to step with their feet.

This is the area where they throw the pork on the floor repeatedly.

P.S: better don't let me catch them in the act with a camera.

Lesson Learnt: Don't Complain When Get to Eat Nice Food

Met Yushan for dinner after band pract at Chong Boon Market or Food Center or Hawker Center or whatever you call it. We used go there for dinner at least 3 times a week after our band practs during sec sch days and I always complain that i got so sick of the food there. Now i no longer staying in Ang Mo Kio and I miss the food there so muchhhh especially the claypot dishes! But sadly, the stall didn't open today. *cries* Anyway, this is what i had for dinner. Feeling satisfied. ^_^

Make Up Guinea Pig

I received a message from a friend of mine last night asking me if I could do her a favour. She took up a make-up course, she's suppose to have a make-up assessment today and her model couldn't make it at the last minute. She was desperately looking for a girl to let her make-up. So I agreed to help.
Her theme was fashion, for fashion shows kinda make-up. She put many kilograms of powder and many layers of lip balm on my face. lol! i think i look super weird so not gonna post pics showing whole face. ^_^

Satisfied Craving for Tempura

I had tempura that i was craving for earlier on for two consecutive days.

So this is the stall that was introduced on the Channel 8 show.

Yesterday, i had Ten Don Set.

Today, i had ala carte that consists of 2pcs of salmon, shrimp, mushroom, enoki mushrooms and squid with udon.

For the Ten Don Set it consists of 2 seafood items and 3 vegetable items @ $6.20.
For ala carte, seafood item @ $1.80 per piece and vegetable item @ $0.60 per piece.

Bad Sleeping Habit

It's 4.22am now and I'm still wide awake. it has become a habit for me to fall asleep ONLY between 3am to 5am =(
pimples popping out, eyebags getting bigger, dark rings getting darker. noooooo! T__T help! help lar, pleaseeee! T__T

Craving for Tempura

I love Japanese food! Be it sashimi, sushi, ramen, tempura or whatever! I just saw on tv, the channel 8 show, introducing a food court selling tempura. Yeah it's nothing special about selling tempura but it's like a yong tau foo stall where you can pick the seafood and vegetables of your choice on the counter to be “tempura-ed”. I shall try it out REAL SOON! =P

Hill Top Japanese Restaurant

I had my dinner at Hill Top Japanese Restaurant which is located in Jurong. And i ordered the Sashimi *something* Set Dinner (and forget about the extra piece of salmon on the rice =x). The sashimi is really very fresh and tasty! I think that it's worth the price! ^^

The restaurant also have a spectacular view of Jurong Island! (my nub phone doesn't allow me to take clear pics T_T)

Last but not least, it's free parking! Though I don't drive, but with delicious food, nice view, free parking, why not give it a try? ;)

Subway Addict

a new record for me. i have been eating Subway for 4 out of 5 days.
today, i had this footlong roast beef sub. muahaha!

4 more days to exam and...

i'm still sitting infront of the notes stoning/daydreaming/wasting time. i started studying since last week but i fall asleep everytime without fail. lol. and coooool..! i haven't fall asleep yet.. for now. haha. oh well, back to "study". so.. wish me good luck. (x_x)

Things to Do During Holidays

My exams are not over yet but I'm having holiday mood already!

So here's my plan! I'm soooo gonna:
1. meet up with friends whom I usually don't get to
2. make another template for this blog
3. play french horn again :D
4. eat, sleep, slack to the fullest (tho I'm doing it everyday =x)
5. try out food at places I have never been to (xin ku ni le, B1! *hint hint* =P)
6. shop, shop, shop!
7. learn a new language ^^

Scary Incident

Took train home from Jurong East today then i encountered this scary incident. I saw people who were standing near the priority seats (that were meant for two people) of the first cabin, all starring at the same direction with disgusted face. I thought someone vomitted. Anyway, when i was suppose to alight, i walked to the door nearer to the seats that i thought someone vomitted as the other exit was crowded. Guess what? It wasn't someone vomitted. It was actually an auntie's foot (somewhere near ankle) got cut. There was a big pool of blood on the floor and the wall. There was really a hell lot of blood. -_- Don't know how she got cut. But it's so scary can. I almost vomitted when i see the blood. -_- Being a nurse is always at the bottom of what-i-gonna-be-list. =/

P.S: no pics arbo lost a lot of blood de person is me liao (kena whack) ._.

homecooked mee siam

Homecooked mee siam is the best! Although I don't really eat mee siam outside neither i have any impression of eating mee siam other than at home. lol. And.. and.. mummy's feeding pig. she made very big bowl of mee siam for me and added two eggs somemore. haha. ;o

Shoe Fetish

did i ever mention that i'm a shoe fetish? yea. i like to buy shoes especially when there's sales going on. even though i don't get to wear them all. up till today, i still have shoes in the shoe cabinet that i haven't wear yet. lol. it's not that i want to buy and keep lah but don't have suitable occasion for me to wear it yet. haha. anyway, went Orchard with B1 today wanted to get some stuffs and we passed by this shop that sells "Mondo" shoes and B1 goes "EH! SALES LEH!" so we rushed in excitedly.

I believe everyone has an unglam side. So here's ours! HAHA!
What's next is, we remove our shoes, walk about in the shop and try the shoes on like our house. -_-

There isn't any seat for us to sit down to try the shoes. So this is what i did. LOL!

Well, in the end i bought two pairs of heels. Nice things might not have to be expensive. ^_^

Sick

Had been sick for a week and i finally went to see a doctor. The doctor gave me 4 types of medicine. Poor me. i dread of swallowing the tablets especially those bigger ones as i find them hard to swallow and it always got stucked at my throat. So what i always do is cut them into 2 pieces. lol! Go ahead and say me kiddy! =x

IKEA

School ended early today so i headed to Ikea Tampines for lunch. Despite having cough, flu and sore throat, i still can't resist the temptation. T_T

How to resist the temptation you tell me? you tell me?! T_T
